• The new DiabetesE PCT and specialist provider assessment questionnaires have been useful and timely in providing us with a complete picture of our local diabetes services. Gill Day Public Health Manager (Long Term Conditions) NHS Wakefield
  • DiabetesE was very easy to use and, Innove are to be congratulated. The questions are relevant and the modules were easy to fill in. The option to upload documents is also easy to use. DiabetesE has the potential to be an excellent tool for improving specialist diabetes care. Dr Niru Goenka Consultant Physician in Diabetes and Endocrinology Countess of Chester NHS Foundation Trust
  • DiabetesE is pretty slick and easy to complete. Obviously to be valuable it is essential that sufficient, ideally all, organisations participate. We liked it. Kevin Hardy Consultant Diabetologist St Helens Hospital, St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust
  • DiabetesE is easy to use and, I feel, all specialist diabetes services should use it. The results of the assessment would help them not only in service negotiations with PCTs/Commissioners, but also in discussions with acute trusts on diabetes inpatient services etc. Dr Partha Kar Clinical Director/Consultant Diabetes & Endocrinology Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust
  • The new DiabetesE specialist provider questionnaire has given us the ability to benchmark the results for our specialist services against others nationally and to paint an accurate picture of the entire diabetes service for the first time. In the post white paper world and taking into account the difficult financial climate, data from DiabetesE has enabled us to have informed discussions with both Commissioners and Providers alike. Susannah Rowles Consultant Diabetes Fairfield Hospital
  • As a network manager, DiabetesE information is invaluable; it allows me to identify the key issues or possible gaps within services, facilitate joint working across the network area and to support service improvement at a local level. Jackie Rooney North Mersey Diabetes Network Manager
  • Although we generally know how we would like to develop the service, DiabetesE does highlight very specific areas which we can then reflect upon. It is also fascinating to compare one's own service to other services both near and far. Diabetes E allows one to do that in a number of interesting ways. Dr Alex Bickerton BM MRCP DPhil Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology Yeovil District Hospital
  • At Luton and Dunstable we use DiabetesE to benchmark our services and to get a feel for what other areas are doing and what the gold standard is for service provision. Julia Fisher Lead DSN Clinical Operational Lead for Diabetes and Endocrinology Luton and Dunstable Hospital NHS Foundation Trust
  • The use of DiabetesE in Primary Care is an excellent way of supporting teams to self-reflect and also provide valuable baseline audit data. Julie Wood Diabetes and Renal Programme Manager NHS Kirklees
  • DiabetesE helps us to continually review progress toward achieving Diabetes National Service Framework standards. Recent updates have ensured the tool remains relevant, informing our revised strategic delivery plan. Paul Crooks Public Health Commissioning Manager Westminster Primary Care Trust
  • At NHS Wandsworth we approached this year's submission to DiabetesE with some trepidation but found the assessment easy to use with help embedded where it was needed. Personally, I found it valuable to see where we compare with other PCTs and more importantly, as a GP diabetes lead, the results showed up areas where more attention is required and where health gains can be made by focusing activity. Dr Neil Bamford GP Lead for Diabetes NHS Wandsworth
